RFID High Frequency Tags

High-Frequency RFID products operate at 13.56 MHz with reading ranges of up to 10 cm. They are less vulnerable to interference when used around metal and water compared to Ultra High Frequency and High-Frequency readers only read one tag at a time, this makes them ideal for payment and sensitive data transfer applications as they become less susceptible for data to be stolen when making a transfer. High frequency is also known as NFC (Near Field Communication) and they both operate at the same frequency.

This page displays the more popular High-Frequency products that we can supply. Our products contain genuine NXP chips and comply with several HF RFID standards. When choosing your tag, firstly consider the environment and space in which you intend to use it and then, how much data you will need to program in order to choose the chip. Most common applications use Mifare ultralight and Ntag chips, however, if you require assistance in selecting the right tag, please contact us.

Information

A smart card, chip card, ISO-Card or integrated
circuit card (ICC), is any pocket-sized card with
embedded integrated circuits which can process
data. Contactless Smart Card, in which the chip
communicates with the card reader through RFID
induction technology, require only close proximity
to an antenna to complete a transaction. They are
often used when transactions must be processed
quickly or hands-free, such as on mass transit
systems, where smart cards can be used without
even removing them from a wallet.
