Current, ex-colleagues and work placement students review their experiences at RFIDdirect.
“Frits gave me the opportunity as a university freshman to gain some valuable work experience over the summer. Not only did it allow me to grow professionally, Frits fully supported me in business education, through participating in wider events. Through RFIDdirect, I gained experience in managing projects, bringing together the software specifications, and also in software development – which not many university graduates can say they have in a professional capacity. I am extremely grateful for the effort that Frits has put into his business, and the passion that he shows as not only a manager but as a colleague, educator and a friend.”Daniel Pottenger
1)”Frits stands apart from others by investing valuable time into elevating employee skills, giving them more than just a “job”. He does this by connecting to each staff member as if he or she were family and encourages them to push themselves further.
2)Starting out in your first job can be a daunting experience. Frits understands this and ensure that the transition process moves efficiently and swiftly through weekly 1 on 1
meetings. Here, plans and development are discussed in detail- with time to answer questions or queries.
My development at RFIDdirect was truly accelerated and set in the right direction under Frits’ leadership. Given just the right amount of push so that I became self-reliant, Frits balances talent cultivation and encouragement with routine so that I was newly focused on my work every day”.Andy Ho
“Frits is a forward thinker with strong beliefs in advancement through education both for himself and his staff. Always willing to put time into staff and help where possible instead of expecting undirected autonomy. An unimposing and non-aggressive leadership style, Frits prefers to work with the staff to accomplish goals instead of against them, creating a strongly bonded working environment for the team. A similar approach is followed through to customers and clients, with a strong emphasis provided on working with clients to find an optimum solution rather than working to force a sale. Owing to this outlook, Frits has provided me with an excellent opportunity and capability to learn as I work and study – never expecting complete competency and being supportive as I personally develop.”Martyn Price
RFIDdirect is committed to contribute to the local community in a positive and pragmatic way.
As a newly expanding company, RFIDdirect is keen to develop ties within the local community; in particular, engaging with the training programmes for young people to gain experience and awareness in business enterprise and marketing.
For a number of years, RFIDdirect has provided the opportunity for local school students to undertake a week of work experience locally and with the potential to travel abroad in Europe.
